Modern Times (1936)

While saying good-bye to tramp, Charlie paid homage to his beginnings, this and the end with him playing a waiter harkened back to his film “The Rink”, The escalator in the department store -  “The Floorwalker” and using some of the actors from his Keystone days, the factory co worker Tiny Sanford and the burglar, the burglar and the boxer Hank Mann, his boss who gets stuck in the machine Chester Conklin and finally the walking away from the camera - though this time with a companion

I admire him as a person as he never forgot where he came from, both personally and professionally.
